Refund & Cancellation Policy

By using the Narrative AI platform you agree to be bound by this document and all applicable Narrative AI policies.
This policy explains how to cancel your Narrative AI subscription and under what circumstances refunds are available. It applies to all agency and individual subscriptions sold by FirstLine Intelligence Systems, LLC ("Company").
1. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by either:
- Emailing info@narrative-ai.org from the account holder's address, or
- Using the Billing Portal in your account settings.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain full access to the platform through that date. We do not charge cancellation fees.
2. Refunds
Narrative AI subscriptions are billed annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except in the following cases:
- 14-Day Satisfaction Window (new paid subscriptions): If your agency is within the first 14 days of its first paid annual term and the platform does not perform as described, contact us at info@narrative-ai.org with a description of the issue. We will review your request and, at our discretion, issue a full refund of the annual fee paid.
- Extended Service Outage: If the platform experiences unplanned downtime exceeding 72 consecutive hours caused by our systems, you may request a pro-rated credit for the affected period. Credits apply to future billing cycles and are not issued as cash.
- Billing Errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount or charged twice, contact us within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and correct the error promptly.
No refunds are issued for partial months, unused seats, unused features, or mid-term cancellations outside of the cases above.
3. Free Pilot Period
New agencies begin with a 30-day free pilot. No credit card is required during the pilot. If you do not convert to a paid subscription at the end of the pilot, your account is simply deactivated — no charge is ever made and no cancellation action is required.
4. Auto-Renewal
Annual subscriptions renew automatically. We send a renewal reminder by email at least 30 days before your renewal date. To avoid being charged for the next term, cancel at least 14 days before your renewal date.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email info@narrative-ai.org with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your agency name, account email, and a brief description of the issue. We respond within 2 business days.
