This Cookie Policy explains how FirstLine Intelligence Systems, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Narrative AI platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application. They allow the Platform to remember information about your visit, such as your authentication session, preferences, and usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage, session tokens, and analytics beacons.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential / Functional Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Platform to function. Without them, you cannot log in or use core features. They cannot be disabled.
- Authentication session cookie — Maintains your logged-in session. Set by Supabase Auth. Expires at session end or 7 days, whichever comes first.
- CSRF protection token — Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks.
- Preference cookies — Stores your display preferences (e.g., active tab, filter settings).
Analytics Cookies
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the Platform is used in aggregate. These cookies help us improve performance and usability. Data is anonymized and not linked to individual identities.
- Vercel Analytics — Tracks page views, navigation patterns, and performance metrics. Data is retained by Vercel per their privacy policy.
Payment Cookies
Stripe, our payment processor, may set cookies in connection with the billing portal and payment flows. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.
3. Third-Party Cookies
We do not permit third-party advertising cookies on the Platform. Third-party service providers listed above (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe) may set their own cookies in connection with their services. We encourage you to review their privacy and cookie policies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the Platform. To manage cookies:

- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. At this time, the Platform does not respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry standard for their interpretation. We do not engage in behavioral advertising and do not track users across third-party websites.
6. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change. We will provide notice of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
